Silk Scarf - Jimmy Pike Artwork

Jilji (Sandhills) seen from a helicopter. 55 x 180cm

100% Pure Silk

Pike was a desert man, who brought to his work a deep understanding of the country he had grown up in, and rejoiced in the array of colours now available to him to depict it.  He experimented with linocuts, acrylic paints, pencil, crayon, and felt-tipped pens.
